Farm stands and markets

After a busy weekend when I couldn’t get to the farmers’ market, I zipped over to  Dinihanian’s Farm Stand just around the bend from my house.  As you can see from the picture, they sell a variety of local produce, eggs, honey, and plants.  Why go to a grocery store when we can find so much locally grown food. Dinihanian’s is open every day from 10-6.

Tri County Farm Fresh Produce has a list of farm stands in our area.  Here are a few:

West Union Gardens

Baggenstos Farm Store

Kruger’s Farm Market

And how about a mobile market that brings the farm to different Portland locations?  Take a peek:  Working Theory Farm

What’s your favorite farm stand?

You are so lucky to “whip around the corner” to your favorite farm stand.

I agree! And they’re growing–every year they have a bigger variety.

I LOVE that picture. We’ve long since left the summer squash and are well into eggplant/tomato/potato season, but the variety you have is lovely to look at. 🙂
